We’re sad to announce that the Axiom Project will be officially sunset on November 10, 2025. After this date, the website and all related services will no longer be available. This means users will no longer be able to check for incompatible mods with the Player2 app using our platform.
Why is Axiom Project shutting down?
The Axiom Project has always been a free and community-focused tool. It was created and maintained by a small, non-profit team, with all infrastructure costs personally funded by the project’s founder, Alex Mueller.
While the operational costs of Axiom are relatively low, they still add up over time. As a passion project with no monetization or external funding, it has become increasingly difficult to justify ongoing expenses—both financial and personal—for server hosting, domain renewal, and development time.
Rather than compromising on quality or introducing ads, paywalls, or intrusive features, we’ve made the tough decision to sunset the project gracefully.
What this means for you
- The site will remain fully functional until November 10, 2025.
- After that, axiom-mc.org will go offline permanently.
- Theres a (small) chance that we will be accepted into the optimihost.com toolchain
- You will no longer be able to look up incompatible mods for Player2 through the site.
We encourage all users to save any important data or take notes on compatibility issues they may need in the future.
